La Trappe Nillis is the first non-alcoholic Trappist beer in the world, brewed by the Koningshoeven Brewery (Bierbrouwerij de Koningshoeven). The beer is brewed within the walls of the Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven abbey in Berkel-Enschot, Netherlands, under the supervision of monks, which grants it the 'Authentic Trappist Product' (ATP) designation.

Historically, the brewery was founded in 1884 to provide an income for the Cistercian abbey. While the daily management and operations are handled by a subsidiary of the Dutch brewing giant Swinkels Family Brewers, the brewery remains under the strict spiritual and regulatory oversight of the Trappist community. A portion of the proceeds continues to support the abbey and various charitable causes, adhering to the traditional monastic brewing philosophy.

La Trappe Nillis specifically is noted for being a dark, amber-colored alcohol-free beer that retains the complex malt flavors and bitterness associated with traditional Trappist ales, despite containing 0.0% alcohol. The production process occurs entirely on the abbey grounds, ensuring its local provenance and traditional status.
