microG Services

microG is a free and open-source implementation of proprietary Google libraries, specifically Google Play Services. It was developed to allow Android users to use Google-dependent applications without compromising their privacy or being locked into the Google ecosystem. The project provides clones for several Google APIs, including location services (GmsCore), Google Cloud Messaging, and Google Maps API.

As an open-source project, microG does not have a traditional corporate manufacturer.
