Booker's Bourbon is a premium, small-batch bourbon produced by the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Unlike most mass-market spirits, Booker's is bottled at barrel strength, uncut and unfiltered, mirroring the way bourbon was traditionally enjoyed by the Beam family. It was first introduced to the public in the late 1980s by Booker Noe, the grandson of Jim Beam and a sixth-generation master distiller.
The brand is a cornerstone of the James B. Beam Distilling Co.'s premium collection. While the whiskey remains deeply rooted in Kentucky heritage and American craftsmanship, the ownership of the distillery has evolved over time from a family-run operation to a major global entity. Today, it operates as part of a significant international spirits portfolio headquartered in Japan.
Production remains concentrated at the original Kentucky facilities, where the specific environmental conditions and aging processes defined by the Noe family are strictly maintained. The brand is globally recognized as a pioneer in the 'small batch' bourbon movement, emphasizing quality and high proof over high-volume consistency.
