Appleton Estate Signature Jamaica Rum

Appleton Estate is a historic brand of Jamaican rum that dates back to 1749, situated in the Nassau Valley in the island's heartland. It is known for its terroir-driven production process, where sugar cane is harvested and distilled on the same estate, making it a true 'Single Estate' rum. The Signature blend is a hallmark of their line, aged in oak barrels to develop its characteristic golden color and complex flavor profile.

While the brand originated as a plantation in Jamaica owned by various local families throughout the centuries, it was eventually acquired by the JWray & Nephew company. In 2012, the Italian spirits giant Campari Group acquired JWray & Nephew, making it the ultimate owner. Today, while the manufacturing remains firmly rooted in Jamaica to preserve its authentic Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, the corporate ownership and global distribution are managed from Milan, Italy.
