Mas des Bressades Excellence Rouge is a premium red wine produced in the Costières de Nîmes appellation within the Rhône Valley of France. The estate was modernized and brought to prominence by the Marès family, specifically starting with Roger Marès in the 1960s and later evolved by Cyril Marès. It is a family-owned estate where the wine is produced, aged, and bottled under the family's direct supervision.

The wine is crafted from Syrah vines grown in gravelly soil typical of the Southern Rhône. The Mediterranean climate, influenced by the Mistral wind, provides ideal conditions for organic viticulture, as evidenced by the organic certification symbols on the label. Current ownership remains with the Marès family, maintaining its status as an independent artisanal producer rather than part of a large multinational conglomerate.
