Andechser Monastery Beer

Andechser is a world-renowned Benedictine beer brand with roots tracing back to Andechs Abbey in Upper Bavaria, Germany. The brewery is historically significant as it is one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world, with documented records of brewing dating back to 1455. Unlike many other monastic brands that have licensed their names to large industrial conglomerates, Andechser remains a true monastic enterprise, owned and operated by the monks of Andechs Abbey.

The beer is brewed exclusively at the foot of the 'Holy Mountain' in Andechs using traditional Bavarian methods, including the multiple mashing process.
