Freia Firkløver chocolate

Freia is one of Norway's most iconic brands, best known for its chocolate products like Freia Melkesjokolade and Firkløver. The brand was founded in 1889 in Oslo and has since become a staple of Norwegian food culture. The product in the image is a 200g bar of Firkløver, a milk chocolate with roasted hazelnuts.

While the brand has deep Norwegian roots, it has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. Today, it is part of the global confectionery giant Mondelez International. Despite the international ownership, the primary production of Freia chocolate bars still takes place at the historic factory in Rodeløkka, Oslo, maintaining its association with Norwegian craftsmanship and quality.
