Little Trees is an iconic brand of tree-shaped car air fresheners. Originally known as Magic Tree, the brand was created in 1952 by Julius Sämann in Watertown, New York. The business began after a milk truck driver complained to Sämann about the smell of spilled milk in his vehicle, leading Sämann to develop a paper-based air freshener using fragrance oils and specialty cardstock.

While the brand is deeply rooted in its American heritage, it has achieved global recognition, often being sold under the 'Magic Tree' name in the UK and parts of Europe, and 'Arbre Magique' in France and Italy. Today, CAR-FRESHNER Corporation maintains strict control over the brand's production and identity, ensuring that the distinctive evergreen tree shape remains one of the most recognizable consumer design symbols in the world.
