Café Crema Ground Coffee

Café Crema is one of Puerto Rico's most established and recognizable coffee brands, dating back to 1925 when it was founded by Luis Garratón. Known for its distinct yellow packaging and a roasting profile tailored to the local Caribbean palate, it has remained a staple in Puerto Rican households for nearly a century. The coffee is primarily sourced from local coffee growers and roasted on the island to maintain its traditional flavor profile.

While originally a family-founded operation in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the brand is currently owned by Puerto Rico Coffee Roasters (PRCR). Since 2008, the company has operated as a major consolidator of the island's coffee heritage. In turn, PRCR is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers, which operates under the investment group CC1 Companies. Despite the corporate transitions, manufacturing remains centered in Puerto Rico to ensure the product meets the specific 'Crema' quality standards that define the brand.
