Maxus is a prominent tyre brand with a global manufacturing footprint. The brand originated from China under the direction of the Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., headquartered in Taiwan. Known for producing high-quality automotive components for a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles, Maxus tyres are manufactured in several facilities across Southeast Asia and China to meet international demand.
The global operations of the brand are managed through its parent company, Cheng Shin Rubber, which is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers. This structure allows Maxus to leverage advanced research and development and extensive distribution networks across more than 180 countries. Historically, the Maxus identity is also associated with the British vehicle heritage through LDV, which was later acquired by SAIC Motor, creating a unique cross-industry brand presence in both the tyre and vehicle sectors.
