Gimi is an iconic Italian brand established in 1970, specializing in home and laundry products such as drying racks, ironing boards, and step stools. The brand became widely recognized for its high-quality steel and aluminum household solutions. Over the decades, Gimi expanded its footprint across Europe, maintaining a reputation for durability and practical Italian design.

In 2016, Gimi was acquired by the Freudenberg Group, a massive German multi-national technology group. Under Freudenberg's Home and Cleaning Solutions division (which also manages the Vileda brand), Gimi's global distribution network strengthened. Today, while the design and brand identity remain rooted in Italy, manufacturing utilizes the parent company's broader European infrastructure to service international markets.
