Primarily known for its high-quality fruit juices and canned products, Tamek Mango Nectar is a staple of their beverage line, typically produced in their extensive manufacturing facilities in Turkey.

The brand was originally established by Mehmet Sipahioğlu in Bursa, the heart of Turkey's fruit-growing region. Over the decades, Tamek has maintained a strong identity as a Turkish-owned venture. As of current ownership, the brand and its parent company, Tamek Gıda ve Konsantre Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., were acquired by the French dairy and food giant Lactalis (via its subsidiary Ak Gıda) in 2021, moving the ultimate ownership to France while maintaining the historic branding and Turkish production bases.
