Flavel is one of the oldest appliance brands in the world, with roots tracing back to the late 18th century in the United Kingdom. It gained fame for its iron foundry work and the invention of the Kitchener cooking range in 1833, which revolutionized domestic cooking in Britain. For generations, Flavel was a quintessentially British brand known for its durability and innovation in kitchen engineering.
In the 21st century, the ownership of Flavel transitioned to Arçelik A.Ş., a global household appliance giant based in Istanbul, Turkey. Under Arçelik's stewardship, Flavel has been repositioned as an accessible and reliable brand within its extensive portfolio, which also includes brands like Beko and Blomberg.
Today, Flavel products are primarily manufactured in Arçelik’s state-of-the-art production facilities in Turkey. These factories are among the largest and most advanced appliance manufacturing sites in Europe. While its engineering and manufacturing base has shifted to Turkey, Flavel maintains a significant market presence in the UK and Ireland, continuing to serve households with a blend of British heritage and modern Turkish manufacturing efficiency.
