Griffin's Snax Minis are a popular savory snack under the legendary Griffin's Food Company portfolio, a cornerstone of New Zealand's food industry. Originally founded by John Griffin in Nelson in 1864, the brand has grown to become New Zealand's largest biscuit manufacturer. The Snax line, known as 'The Kiwi Classic,' is famous for its buttery, salty flavor profile, and these 'Minis' in 'Kiwi BBQ' flavor are a contemporary bite-sized variation designed for snacking on the go.

While the brand remains deeply rooted in New Zealand culture and continues to manufacture its core products at its facilities in Auckland (notably Wiri), its corporate ownership has changed hands several times in recent decades. After previous ownership by Nabisco and Danone, Griffin's was acquired in 2014 by Universal Robina Corporation (URC). In 2021, a significant ownership shift occurred when the German-based Intersnack Group, through its Oceania subsidiary Intersnack Cashew Company, entered into a joint venture with URC, eventually leading to full integration within the Intersnack portfolio which now oversees the brand's strategic direction across the region.
