Saupiquet Mackerel

Saupiquet is one of the most recognizable names in the French tinned seafood market. Today, much of its production remains rooted in France, with a significant manufacturing presence in Pouldreuzic, Brittany, where it processes various seafood products using traditional and industrial methods.

While the brand is deeply French in heritage, its ownership has transitioned into an international profile. Since late 1999, Saupiquet has been part of the Bolton Group, an Italian multinational corporation. This acquisition integrated Saupiquet into a leading European portfolio of consumer brands, ensuring its distribution across the continent while maintaining its status as a staple in French households.
