Tetley Pure Green Tea

Tetley is one of the world's most recognized tea brands, with a history dating back to 1837 when it was founded by Joseph and Edward Tetley in Yorkshire, England. Today, it stands as the largest tea company in the United Kingdom and Canada and the second largest in the United States. The brand is celebrated for its innovation, notably being the company that introduced the tea bag to the UK in 1953.

While its roots are British, Tetley was acquired in 2000 by Tata Consumer Products (formerly Tata Global Beverages), a major Indian multinational conglomerate. This ownership move integrated Tetley into a global supply chain that sources tea from numerous regions including India, Kenya, and Malawi. Manufacturing and blending operations are distributed globally, with major facilities in Eaglescliffe, UK, as well as production sites in India and other key markets to serve regional demand.
