Havanna is an Argentine culinary icon, world-renowned for its premium alfajores—traditional South American pastries consisting of two soft cookies joined by a rich dulce de leche filling and glazed in chocolate or meringue. Founded in 1948 in the coastal city of Mar del Plata, the brand has grown from a local confectionery shop into a symbol of Argentine heritage and a staple of the country’s high-end food exports.

While the brand shares its name with the Cuban capital, its origin is strictly Argentine. The products are primarily manufactured in their state-of-the-art facility in Mar del Plata, ensuring that the traditional recipe and quality standards are maintained.
