Libresse is a pioneering brand in the feminine hygiene sector, widely recognized across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The brand has a long history of innovation in intimate care, often marketed under different names such as Bodyform in the UK, Nana in France and North Africa, and Nosotras in South America.

Originally developed in Sweden, the brand is now part of Essity, a global leader in hygiene and health. Their products are manufactured in various facilities worldwide, including major plants in Europe and South America to serve regional markets.

Starting from 2024 and looking toward 2026, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of Essity AB. Essity was formerly part of the SCA Group (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget) until it was spun off as a standalone hygiene company in 2017. The brand is often sold through local subsidiaries such as Essity Norway AS or Essity UK, depending on the region.
