Mora is a household name in the Netherlands and Belgium, synonymous with 'snacks'. Founded in 1960 by Marcel Mourmans in Maastricht, the brand revolutionized the frozen snack market with products like the Bamischijf (a breaded disc filled with bami noodles).

Today, Mora is a key brand under the Van Geloven group. Since 2016, Van Geloven has been a subsidiary of the Canadian multinational frozen food giant McCain Foods. While the brand maintains its headquarters and primary production facilities in the Netherlands (Tilburg and Maastricht), it benefits from the global distribution network of its Canadian owner.
