AEG, which stands for Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft, is a prestigious German brand with a long-standing history of engineering excellence dating back to its founding in 1883 by Emil Rathenau. Originally established in Berlin, the brand became a global leader in electrical equipment and home appliances, synonymous with high-quality German manufacturing and functional design and innovation.
While the original AEG company ceased to exist as an independent entity in the 1990s, the brand name was strategically acquired and is now managed by the Swedish multinational Electrolux Group. This transition has allowed the brand to maintain its identity as a premium European appliance label. Today, AEG products like the 7000 Series ovens are manufactured across Europe, with major production hubs located in Germany (especially for rotisserie and high-end units) and Poland, ensuring they meet contemporary standards for smart technology and energy efficiency.
