Lume is a modern hygiene brand specializing in whole-body deodorants that are aluminum-free and skin-safe. Founded in 2017 by Dr. Shannon Klingman, an OB/GYN, the brand was developed to provide an effective, science-based solution for odor control anywhere on the body.

Starting as a direct-to-consumer pioneer, the brand quickly gained massive popularity through social media and viral marketing campaigns. In late 2021, the brand was acquired by Harry's, Inc. (now known as Harry's Group), a company primarily known for its subscription shaving services. This acquisition allowed Lume to scale into major retail outlets. Most Lume products are manufactured in the United States, maintaining its identity as an American-born hygiene innovator under the larger umbrella of Harry's Group.
