Kókómjólk is one of Iceland's most iconic beverage brands, deeply embedded in the country's national identity since its launch in 1970. The product is a chocolate milk drink featuring a distinctive mascot—a striped cat named Klói—who has appeared on the packaging since 1990. It is often associated with sports and energy, as indicated by the 'Þú færð kraft úr Kókómjólk' (You get strength from Kókómjólk) slogan visible on the carton.

The product is manufactured in Iceland using fresh Icelandic milk. The brand was originally created by the dairy cooperative Mjólkursamsalan (MS), which remains the producer and owner to this day. MS is a cooperative owned by over 600 dairy farmers across Iceland, making it a cornerstone of the domestic agricultural industry.
