Scholl Foot Care Cream

Scholl is a globally recognized brand specializing in foot care and footwear. The brand's origin dates back to 1904 when Dr. William Mathias Scholl founded the company in Chicago, USA, with a focus on orthopedic solutions and foot comfort. Over the decades, Scholl evolved into a household name for everything from insoles to intensive moisturizers and fungal treatments.

Ownership of the Scholl brand is complex due to historical acquisitions. In most markets, including Europe (where the German text on this label suggests it is sold), the brand was acquired by Reckitt Benckiser (now Reckitt) in 2010. However, in 2021, Reckitt sold the Scholl business to Yellow Wood Partners, a private equity firm. Yellow Wood Partners subsequently merged Scholl with their existing Dr. Scholl's business (acquired from Bayer), effectively reuniting the global brand under one owner. Manufacturing takes place in various countries across Europe and Asia to supply international markets.
