Today, the brand is managed by S.C. Cotnari S.A., a private Romanian company that has successfully preserved the legacy of these historic vineyards through modernization and international export. The entire production process, from harvesting the grapes to bottling the final product, takes place within the Cotnari geographical area, ensuring the wine maintains its Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. The ownership remains firmly within Romania, making it a proud representative of Romanian agricultural heritage on the global stage.
