Kazbegi is one of the most iconic and traditional beverage brands in Georgia, rooted in the country’s long-standing history of lemonade production. The brand takes its name from the majestic Mount Kazbek, reflecting its regional heritage. It gained widespread popularity for its unique fruit-based carbonated drinks, particularly the pear-flavored variety, which is a staple in Georgian culinary culture.
The product is manufactured in Georgia, utilizing traditional recipes that emphasize the distinct, sweet, and aromatic flavor of the Duchesse pear. Production facilities are located within Georgia to maintain the authentic taste profile that has defined the brand for decades.
The brand is owned by the Georgian Beer Company (JSC Georgian Beer Company), which operates out of the Zedazeni brewery. The company was founded by businessman Cezar Chocheli. In addition to lemonade, the company produces a wide range of beers and non-alcoholic beverages, serving both the domestic Georgian market and international export markets in the Caucasus, Europe, and Asia.
