Liefmans Fruitesse

Liefmans Fruitesse is a popular Belgian fruit beer known for its distinct blend of beer and natural juices from red fruits like cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and elderberries. The brand has its roots in Oudenaarde, Belgium, dating back to 1679. It is traditionally served 'on the rocks' in a glass with ice, as indicated on the label shown in the image.

The Liefmans brewery was historically famous for its Liefmans Goudenband and Kriek, pioneered by the legendary brewer Rosa Merckx. After experiencing financial difficulties in the early 2000s, the brewery was acquired by the Duvel Moortgat group in 2008. Since then, the brand has expanded internationally, keeping its production in the historical brewing heartland of Belgium while benefiting from the global distribution network of its parent company.
