Ferrero duplo (mini/praline variant)

Duplo is a popular chocolate brand known for its light wafer layers and hazelnut cream filling coated in milk chocolate. Originally launched in Germany in 1964, it was marketed as 'the longest pralines in the world'. The brand has since expanded its product line to include 'Chocnut' and mini praline versions like the one shown in the image.

The brand is owned and manufactured by Ferrero, the Italian confectionery giant. While the brand has Italian roots through its parent company, Duplo is deeply integrated into the German chocolate market where it was first introduced and where a significant portion of its production takes place, specifically at Ferrero's large manufacturing facility in Stadtallendorf, Germany. Ownership remains firmly with the Ferrero family through their global holding company based in Luxembourg and Italy.
