Tadelle is one of Turkey's most iconic chocolate brands, known primarily for its high hazelnut content bar wrapped in milk chocolate. The brand's origin is deeply rooted in the agricultural wealth of the Black Sea region of Turkey, which is world-renowned for its hazelnut production. The product was originally developed by Sagra, a company that pioneered the use of premium Bolu and Ordu hazelnuts in mass-market snacks.
Over the years, the brand underwent significant corporate transitions. After being managed by various entities, it was acquired by the Toksöz Group in the early 2000s under their Sanset Gıda division. This acquisition revitalized the brand, focusing on high-quality ingredients such as natural vanilla and high-percentage hazelnut paste, distinguishing it from domestic and international competitors that use artificial flavorings.
Tadelle continues to be manufactured in Turkey, specifically at advanced production facilities in Ordu, near the source of its primary ingredients. Today, it remains a flagship brand of the Toksöz family, maintaining a strong presence in the Middle Eastern and European specialty confectionery markets.
