McVitie's Penguin is a classic British chocolate-covered biscuit bar filled with chocolate cream. First produced in 1932 by William McDonald in Glasgow, it has become a staple of United Kingdom lunchboxes, famous for the 'p-p-p-pick up a penguin' slogan and the jokes printed on every individual wrapper.

Today, the brand is manufactured primarily in the United Kingdom at the Stockport factory. While McVitie's is a historic British brand dating back to the 19th century, its ownership has transitioned through various corporate mergers. It is currently under the umbrella of pladis, a global confectionery company that consolidated the snack businesses of the Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding.
