Jaguar Automobiles

Jaguar is a storied British luxury vehicle brand with a lineage dating back to the 1920s. Originally founded in Blackpool, the company became synonymous with high-performance sports cars and elegant saloons. Over the decades, the car manufacturer has undergone several ownership transitions, most notably being part of British Leyland and later acquired by the American Ford Motor Company in the late 1980s.

Today, Jaguar operates under the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) umbrella. Since 2008, the brand has been owned by the Indian conglomerate Tata Motors. While the brand maintains its design and engineering heart in the West Midlands region of England, its manufacturing footprint has expanded globally to include state-of-the-art facilities in Nitra, Slovakia, and Graz, Austria, alongside a joint venture production site in China to serve the East Asian market.
