Landmann is one of Europe's oldest and most established barbecue brands, founded in 1966 near Bremen, Germany. It was instrumental in popularizing American-style grilling equipment across the European market. Over the decades, Landmann grew from a local distributor into an international player in the outdoor living sector, offering gas grills, charcoal barbecues, and smokers.

Following a period of financial restructuring, the brand was acquired in 2021 by the DS Group, which is now part of the Social Chain AG network. While the engineering and heritage remain rooted in Germany, the volume of manufacturing is primarily centered in China to maintain competitive pricing for the mass market. Today, Landmann continues to lead with innovations like the 'Fryton' 4-in-1 gas grill, which integrates air frying technology with traditional grilling.
