The "Il Biologico" variety is an unfiltered, organic extra virgin olive oil produced using cold extraction methods. In 2018, the brand underwent a significant transition in ownership when it was acquired by the Avril Group, a major French agro-industrial company. This partnership was designed to help Costa d'Oro become a global leader in the olive oil market.
