Allen's Minties

Allen's Minties are an iconic Australian mint-flavored chewy lolly. First launched in 1922, they are famous for their unique texture and their long-running marketing slogan, "It’s moments like these you need Minties," which has become a staple of Australian pop culture.

The product was originally created by James Stedman-Henderson's Sweets Ltd, which later became part of the Allen's brand portfolio. Today, Minties remain a core part of the Allen's lollies range, which is one of the most recognized confectionery brands in the Australasian market.

While the brand has deep Australian roots and is manufactured in local facilities, such as the Nestlé factory in Broadford, Victoria, the brand is currently owned by the Swiss multinational food and beverage giant Nestlé. Nestlé acquired the Allen's brand as part of its acquisition of Rowntree Mackintosh in the late 1980s.
