Kas is a prominent brand of carbonated fruit-flavored soft drinks originally hailing from Spain. It was founded in the mid-1950s by the Knörr family in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country. The brand initially gained popularity with its orange and lemon flavors, eventually becoming a household name across the Iberian Peninsula and parts of France and Mexico.
Since its acquisition in the early 1990s, the brand has been under the umbrella of PepsiCo. While its primary market remains Spain, where technical production is concentrated in local bottling plants, the brand is also manufactured and distributed in other territories including Portugal and parts of South America. Today, Kas continues to be a core part of the PepsiCo International portfolio, known for its intense fruit flavor and association with local Spanish culture.
