Berlingske newspaper

Berlingske, formerly known as Berlingske Tidende, is one of Denmark's oldest and most respected daily newspapers. Founded in 1749 by Ernst Henrich Berling, it has a long-standing history as a central pillar of Danish journalism and conservative-liberal political thought.

Today, the newspaper is manufactured and printed within Denmark to serve the local market. It is owned by Berlingske Media, which is a significant player in the Danish media landscape. Since 2014, the ultimate owner of Berlingske Media has been the Belgian media group DPG Media (formerly known as De Persgroep).
