STIGA chainsaw

STIGA is a historic Swedish brand founded in 1934 by Stig Hjelmquist in Tranås. While initially famous for table tennis equipment, it evolved into a world-leading manufacturer of garden machinery including lawn mowers and chainsaws.

Today, the brand is owned by Stiga Group, which is headquartered in Italy. Manufacturing is distributed globally across multiple facilities. High-end robotic mowers and professional equipment are often produced in Italy, while other consumer tools like this chainsaw are manufactured in specialized plants across Slovakia and China. Despite the international ownership and production, STIGA maintains a strong design and engineering presence in Sweden to uphold its Nordic performance legacy.
