The brand was launched in 2023 to consolidate Albert Heijn's vegan and vegetarian offerings under a single identity. While Albert Heijn (AH) was founded in Zaandam in 1887, it is now the primary Dutch subsidiary of the multinational retail conglomerate Ahold Delhaize. The product is primarily manufactured in the Netherlands to serve the local Dutch and Belgian markets, adhering to European nutritional standards such as the Nutri-Score system visible on the packaging.
