duschdas is a well-established personal care brand, particularly famous in the German-speaking market for its shower gels and deodorants. Originally founded in Germany in 1973, it was the first brand to introduce shower gel in a bottle to the German market.
The brand was initially developed by the German company Lingner & Fischer (later part of SmithKline Beecham). Over several decades, ownership shifted through various corporate mergers and acquisitions. Today, duschdas is owned by the British multinational consumer goods company Unilever. While most production remains centered in Europe, specifically Germany, to serve its primary consumer base, the global supply chain of its parent company, Unilever, means components or specific lines may be sourced from multiple locations.
