Cremo ice cream

Cremo is a long-standing and prominent ice cream brand in Thailand, known for its wide variety of frozen treats ranging from traditional sticks to premium cones. Established decades ago, it grew to become one of the top three ice cream manufacturers in the Thai market, primarily serving domestic consumers and exporting to several regional markets.

In 2018, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when the inner Mongolian dairy giant, Yili Group, acquired a 96.46% stake in Chomthana Co., Ltd., the parent company of Cremo. This acquisition was a strategic move by Yili to expand its footprint in the Southeast Asian dairy and frozen food sectors, leveraging Chomthana's extensive distribution network and local production facilities.

Today, Cremo products are primarily manufactured in Thailand at state-of-the-art facilities located in Pathum Thani. As part of the Yili Group's global portfolio, the brand benefits from international research and development resources while maintaining its strong local identity and presence in the Thai convenience store and retail sectors.
