Burger Knäcke is a traditional German brand known for its specialized production of crispbread. The brand originated in Burg, Germany, where it has been produced since 1927. It became a household name across East Germany (GDR) and managed to maintain its market significance following German reunification.

The brand's manufacturing center remains in Burg bei Magdeburg, where it produces a wide variety of crispbread products including the 'Das Landknäcke' series. Since 2001, Burger Knäcke has been part of the Brandt Group, a well-known German family-owned company famous for its zwieback (rusk). This acquisition allowed the brand to expand its distribution while keeping its production localized in its historic German facility.
