The product is the result of a complex recipe involving 29 different herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots, all of which are typical of the Mediterranean landscape around Cape Vaticano. It is traditionally served ice-cold (-20°C) to enhance the aromatic properties of its botanical ingredients.

The brand has been managed by the Caffo family for four generations. Since 1915, the Distilleria F.lli Caffo has refined its production techniques while maintaining the original secret recipe. Today, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Gruppo Caffo 1915, maintaining its headquarters and primary manufacturing facility in Limbadi, Italy, ensuring that it remains a quintessential symbol of Italian artisanal spirit production.
