Twinings Intense Premium Tea

Founded in 1706 by Thomas Twining in London, Twinings is one of the oldest tea merchants in the world. Originally established at No. 216 Strand, London, the brand quickly became synonymous with high-quality tea and was even granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1837. Historically, it was a family-owned British enterprise for centuries before entering the global corporate landscape through acquisition.

While the brand maintains its headquarters and expert blending teams in the United Kingdom, manufacturing and packing have shifted significantly over the years. Today, a major portion of Twinings products sold in Europe and other international markets is produced at their state-of-the-art facility in Swarzędz, Poland. The brand is currently owned by Associated British Foods (ABF), a British multinational food processing and retailing company that acquired the brand in 1964 and has since integrated it into its global grocery portfolio.
