While the brand is French in its conceptualization and design, the manufacturing process is largely outsourced to global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), primarily located in China, to maintain competitive pricing. All products are developed according to European safety and quality standards set by the parent company. Today, Sterwins is exclusively distributed through ADEO's retail networks, which include major hardware stores like Leroy Merlin and Bricoman, establishing it as a key household name in the European DIY market.
