CeraVe Moisturising Lotion (Nawilżająca Emulsja)

CeraVe was founded in 2005 by dermatologists in the United States who wanted to create a clinical skincare line focused on skin barrier repair using ceramides. The brand quickly gained prestige for its formulation containing three essential ceramides and Multivesicular Emulsion (MVE) delivery technology, which helps provide long-lasting hydration.

In 2017, the global beauty giant L'Oréal acquired CeraVe from Valeant Pharmaceuticals (now Bausch Health) to bolster its Active Cosmetics division. This acquisition transitioned the brand into a global phenomenon. While the product in the image is labeled in Polish (Nawilżająca Emulsja), CeraVe products sold across Europe are primarily manufactured in L'Oréal's specialized facilities in France, whereas products for the North American market are typically produced in the USA.
