Jensen Loudspeakers is a legendary name in the audio and music industry, particularly famous for its role in the development of guitar amplifiers and high-fidelity sound. The brand was founded in Chicago by Peter Jensen, an innovator who co-invented the first loudspeaker in 1915. For decades, Jensen was the go-to speaker for iconic amplifier brands like Fender, Gibson, and Ampeg, defining the sound of rock and roll and mid-century audio.

In the late 1990s, the Jensen brand underwent a significant transition in its musical instrument division. SICA Altoparlanti, an Italian speaker manufacturer, reached a licensing agreement to reproduce the classic vintage Jensen speakers. Today, while the brand remains American in soul and heritage, the manufacturing and global distribution for the "Jensen Musical Instrument Speakers" line are centered in Italy. SICA utilizes original specifications and blueprints to ensure the sonic integrity of the vintage Alnico and Ceramic models remains consistent with their historical predecessors.
