Klipsch is an iconic American audio brand renowned for its high-efficiency horn-loaded loudspeakers. The company was founded in 1946 by Paul W. Klipsch in Hope, Arkansas, where he revolutionized the industry with the 'Klipschorn'.
Today, while premium Heritage series models are still handcrafted in the United States, the majority of the brand's mass-market consumer speakers and soundbars are manufactured in China to meet global demand. Ownership of the brand shifted in 2011 when it was acquired by VOXX International, a major global distributor of consumer electronics and automotive technology. Klipsch continues to operate as a high-end subsidiary within the VOXX portfolio, maintaining its headquarters and R&D facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana.
