Founded in 1912 in Novelda, Alicante, the company has maintained its roots in the Valencian region for over a century. The iodized salt packets, like the one shown, are a staple in Spanish hospitality and are produced and packaged in Spain.

The brand remains a family-owned enterprise, currently managed by the third generation of the Moya family under the corporate name La Barraca Alimentaria. All production processes, from sourcing to the specialized small-format packaging for the food service industry, are centralized in their Spanish facilities, ensuring adherence to European quality standards.
