Canadian Club, often referred to as 'C.C.', is one of the most iconic Canadian whisky brands in the world. It was originally founded in 1858 by Hiram Walker in Walkerville, Ontario. The location was chosen due to the high quality of local grains and its strategic proximity to the Detroit River, which would later play a significant role in the brand's history during the Prohibition era in the United States.

The production is still centered in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where the whisky is distilled and blended. In 2014, the brand became part of the Suntory Global Spirits portfolio (formerly Beam Suntory) following the acquisition of Beam Inc. by the Japanese beverage giant Suntory Holdings. Today, Canadian Club remains a staple of North American spirits, known for its smooth profile and long-standing tradition of barrel blending before aging.
