Paddy Irish Whiskey

Paddy Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey with a heritage dating back to 1779. Originally produced by the Cork Distilleries Company, it was first known as 'Cork Distilleries Company Old Irish Whiskey.' It was renamed in 1913 in honor of Patrick J. 'Paddy' Flaherty, a legendary salesman for the distillery who became famous for his generous samples and personal charm across the pubs of Cork.

Today, the whiskey continues to be crafted in Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. While the production remains deeply rooted in Irish tradition, the brand's ownership has transitioned through several major global beverage groups. For many years, it was a core part of the Irish Distillers portfolio under Pernod Ricard. In 2016, the brand was acquired by Sazerac, one of the world's largest privately held spirits companies, which has sought to expand the brand's presence in international markets while maintaining its authentic Irish character.
