The brand was established by the Bousquet family, who moved from Carcassonne, France, to the Tupungato region in Mendoza, Argentina, in the late 1990s. This specific organic Cabernet Franc is produced at high altitudes (1200 meters) in the Uco Valley, adhering to biological and sustainable farming practices.

The wine is a hallmark of Domaine Bousquet, the largest exporter of organic wines in Argentina. The production process takes place entirely in Mendoza, where the arid climate and high elevation allow for organic cultivation without the need for intensive chemical interventions.
